Triangle of Art in oak with obsidian mirror
$202.00
The Triangle of Art is used in Solomonic ceremonial magick, for spirit evocation and scrying.
It represents the protected space outside the magic circle, into which spirits are compelled to appear. Typically, the central circle is inscribed with the sigil (seal) of the spirit to be invoked. The usual form is of a triangle, circumscribed with various words of power, containing an inner, blackened circle. The purpose of the triangle is to contain the manifested entity.
In this version the center circle is a 4″ diameter (3 1/2″ viewable) solid Obsidian scrying mirror. The equilateral, engraved triangle is 9″ long on each edge and 1″ thick solid oak wood. The mirror and backing are held in with brass screws and turn buttons. Foam rubber pads at the points protect any delicate surface the mirror may be placed upon. This piece comes with a black iron and brass stand.
