Intro to Tarot Class with Ami
Join Ami, owner and tarot reader at Star + Splendor for a night of history and mystery as we begin our study of the art of Tarot!
Using the traditional Tarot as our model, we will take a look at the origins of the Tarot, discuss how and why it works, and begin to study the meaning of the cards. Students will receive guides and materials and walk away with practical exercises and layouts to begin working with the their decks.

Intro to Tarot
Many of familiar with the Tarot as a classic divination method, but it's also an array of archetypal ideas and a key to universal wisdom. In this class, back by popular demand, we'll dive into the origins of the Tarot, learn the methodology, and explore the mystery of the cards, while learning to read them. In this class, you'll come away with a foundational understanding of the card meanings and order, and the ability to read a number of spreads. A traditional 78 card deck with the four suits of wands, cups, swords and pentacles/disks is required. Registered attendees will receive a 10% discount on any of the decks we carry in the shop. We have a number of traditional decks that are perfect for this class. Space is very limited, and pre-registration is required. Hope you can join us! Instructor: Ami Lahoff is the owner of STAR + SPLENDOR, and offers professional Tarot readings at the shop. As a student of the hermetic arts for over 25 years, Ami has a deep background in the Western Esoteric Tradition. Her study and practice includes, yoga and the Tantric tradition, Kabbalah, alchemy, Tarot and ceremonial magick. She is well-versed in many traditions, however, and holds the belief that ones spiritual practice can be an important part of their self care. She enjoys finding common ground with others and cheering them on along their own individual paths to truth and beauty.

Learn to Weave on a Small Loom with fiber artist Sarah Boink
Learn to weave on a small loom in this class, presented by Sarah Boink, fiber artist on Sunday, February 16, 1pm.
In this workshop, you will learn basic weaving techniques while making a crystal container and essential oil diffuser with locally sourced fiber.
You will receive a sustainably crafted and curated kit with a small loom and everything you need to complete a project. This is a perfect activity to share with friends and family once you’ve learned! You will have the time needed to complete a project that holds personal meaning for you to enjoy throughout the year.

Ethical Hexing with K.A. Laity
