We are so very excited and honored to host Laura Tempest Zakroff- author, artist, dancer and Witch- to STAR + SPLENDOR for an evening workshop on sigils, and a book signing. Laura’s book Sigil Witchery has recently won the Gold 2019 COVR Award for Best Book in the Witchcraft, Wicca, & Shamanism category, and her workshop will expand on some of the teachings in the book.
The Art of Sigil Witchery: Sigils are magical symbols that are designed to influence ourselves and the world around us. Explore a fresh, innovative and intuitive approach to crafting your own designs. Tracing through history, art, and culture, we’ll look at the basic elements that make up all symbols, consider meanings, and see how to safely and respectfully incorporate them into your own personal practice. Bring a writing implement and notebook.
Please purchase tickets in advance, as seating is limited. After purchasing, your name will be added to the guest list. Please arrive a few minutes early to check in. Book signing is 6-7pm and Laura’s books and artwork will be all available for purchase.
