Church of Myth: Apollo

Hosted by astrologer Isavella Vassilakis, Church of Myth will be held on the 3rd Sunday of each month at Star + Splendor at 96 Congress Street, Troy, NY, from 4 – 5:30 pm.
There will be a myth-based sermon followed by a corresponding ritual.
Each month will be different; each mythic tale chosen to reflect the stars, as well as our collective hearts & minds.
All are welcome.
Coffee hour will follow Church. Come meet & mingle! We’re keeping it just a little traditional over here 😉
CHAPTER 2: APOLLO
Apollo is the Greek God of light, music, poetry, reason, beauty, and moral virtue.
Like many solar deities, he is an oracular god. The famous Delphic Oracle, a priestess of Apollo whose prophecies influenced the course of history, will be explored as we turn our focus to the light of Summer and its connection to our inner vision.
Light, vision, prophecy — these are all the domain of golden Apollo.
